Replacement for ITP SA2 Eluma Cree XP-G R5 Tactical LED Flashlight

I bought my first serious flashlight in Jan 2011. The ITP was recommended by this forum and I have loved it.
I only want an 2 x AA flashlight that is small and compact like the original flashlight that I bought last year.

Given that I am looking to buy another flashlight 2 years later, what would be the best equivalent today?

Price Range - $30-$50
Battery - 2 x AA

Suggestions on what to buy and where to buy it?
