streamlight survivor 61401? does not like AA lithium. No warning about AA Lithium on yellow Tag on battery tray. So I tried. With Lithium AA Regulator seems to cut out power upon "click-on". Persistent efforts will powerup. Unit seems OK...but overnight rest makes regulator nuts again. Regulator impedes current repeatedly. All polarity observed in Tray. Replace Lithium AA with AA alkaline improves "click-on" to "normal". Possible brighter beam with lithium AA but...not sure. Do not like alkaline. Suspect AA Lithium is considered a "fire hazard" or something. Does Survivor Level 2 Knucklehead permit Lithium? Higher lumen output suggests maybe.
