Can you bore the M3?

Hi Andy,

We are constantly expanding our capabilities but don't have the resources to do a bunch of models all at once. At the moment, we are exploring the Z2, very similar to the M3. If that is successful, the M3 is next on the list.

Can you bore a L5???

I should think that it should be similar if not identical to a C2 body..... Can't tell for sure as i dun have a C2 to compare with.

L5.... can be done??

I saw in your other thread that you can bore a Z2 as well..... is that correct???

We've checked it out and, like the M2, consider the L5 to have the same body as the C2. I have added it to post 1 and created a reservation for you. If it ends up not being workable, we'll refund your payment and return your unmodified light until testing can be done.

I saw in your other thread that you can bore a Z2 as well..... is that correct???

We are currently in the process of qualifying the Z2 as borable. I hope to complete this process before Batch B begins, giving people the opportunity to modify these sooner.

GREAT!!! Thanks for the updates.... fingers crossed that Z2 boring will be available before the next batch starts.....

Will not be too worth it for me to send 2 lights individually in different batches internationally....

The good news is, Bore Batch A is complete

The better news is, Tom upgraded our boring equipment before starting, so this is the smoothest finish we've ever had:

The bad news is, I won't have these ready to ship until tomorrow!
