I have a few lights that give me reason to smile whenever I turn them on.

I now have a light that makes me laugh out loud every time I turn it on. -

Got a new to me QK16L today, was made an offer I couldn't refuse. I know it runs on a 16650 but can it handle two CR123s?

Still waiting on a programmable driver for these. Or at lease an option to turn memory off completely.

The voltage range is 2.8v to 4.2v.
So the answer to your question is - No. 6v go

The manual says 2.8v-8.4v but also states they don't recommend dual cells because of possible thermal runaway(what is that?).
Never heard of anyone having issues with dual cell lights.

I saw that, funny thing I noticed is the black versions have the 319A 5k 80+CRI(which my manual states) but the blue models have the 319A 4k 90+CRI(which this one is and is on the box). Maybe they only have one manual, I know the slate blue model came out after the black ones did.

Planning to do an emitter swap on this but the pill won't unscrew. Are these known to have red Loctite? Any tips on removal? Thanks!

Heatgun! That's the solution of your problems. Heat it all around, wrap in something grippy and use heavy duty tweezers to unscrew the pill
