Do you every spend like a couple hours and just play with all your lights at once? I do it once it a while and I just sit there with a stupid smile. I especially enjoy the really old and classic outdated lights. Really put things into perspectives on how far and fast we have came.

Are there less posts on CPF or it is just my subforum?
I think way too many threads are pinned and it prevents this sub-forum from flowing naturally. Especially if we want to post in an unpinned thread, it doesn't show unless you scroll down like 3 whole pages so no one responds… maybe unpin everything except the latest released light and the lounge?

Yes! That is why I have kept all of my older classic Vinh lights, because they have a greater quantity of happy memories than my newer ones have. I like to fantasize about all of them being upgraded with SBT90.2. Imagine a Meteor M43 12 x SBT 90.2 Vn!

I also like to think how far we have further to advance. For instance, some people are still waiting for the Acebeam X65GT 14 x SBT90.2

Click to enlarge the thumbnail, so I can hear the "Wow!" from here.

I've always thought there would be a huge market for trucks this size.
Toyota --to me -- ruined the Tacoma by making it bigger. It's still excellent of course, but I prefer the older smaller version.
Where I live, people with diesels as their primary work truck would love to have a Maverick type that can be used as a daily driver

They need to bring back the Suzuki Samurai. Something that size would be massively popular, too.

Here's a hard-use pairing:

Would $1800 for a Sony A7 III with 28-70mm Lens be the best for the money? Thanks

That's about the current going rate for that combination. As far as performance goes, it depends on what you're prioritizing for your pictures. Newer and upcoming Sony models will have better autofocusing, but the older A7 III still has insanely good image quality, and newer Sony models don't really improve much on that front.

When might we see a multi-emitter TIR light? Does such a light exist already and slipped by me? Is it even possible?

Basically I'm imagining a Manker MK37vn on steroids, 3x SBT90, 3x21700, 3x TIR optics... ultra thrower with usable spill but not detracting from the center hotspot.

Thoughts?

Most TIR lights are arranged in multiple optic arrays, but I guess you mean huge optic arrays. The largest I know of off the top of my head is the D4S. Weight quickly becomes an issue when you start packing so many large ones together.

One cool light with two huge reflectors in an array is the Maxtoch Owl Eyes W2. Seeing that thing with two SBT90.2s would be cool.

So you say go for this combo? I dotn want to spend more than $2000. I just want a camera for beam shots and Viet.

I just pulled out a Sony A6000 my wife bought me years ago and took some beam shots. She was mad I got it out because I never really used it. haha

It can get exhausting picking out gear.

You would probably enjoy a macro lens
