Guys please stop.
All the things you're crying about is what you'll never notice until you go that BLF tester route and 99% of you won't.
So in other words, you'll have a hard time to tell efficiency between first and last batch drivers.
Just get another hobby…simple…
Sorry, but I'm going to cry about it as much as I feel necessary. You can always ignore me as a user if you don't like it.

Welp, while you guys having breakdowns i was playing with some Zebras.
First of all, SC700d, emitter swapped with XHP70.3HI 5700K 90CRI a year ago. Wasn't happy cause Cree still covers area around die with phosporus and in 3rd gen they simply aplied white silicone. But that yellow goo still radiate yellow corona around hotspot. So after a year i partially opened it again and after some time i was licky to dice the emitter (HI by factory) with damaging center die. This is the most perfect beam of all Zebras!😀
Next was 2 x SC600 MkIV. Terrible, simply terrible beam. Although there were XHP50.3HI emitters and after dicing, Cree rainbow was still there.
After consulatations with Freeman i went with group G6 and programed it for highest output H2a. Next was indtalling 5050/3535 adapters (by Freeman) and Nichia 719.
One got 2700K and the other 5000k.
PERFECT!! SC600 reflector was originaly designed for XHP35 emitters and that size works perfect here.
Last but not least, SC600w II. Only 5050/3535 adapter with Nichia 519 installed. Instant success!

For everyone interested in upcoming SC700d HI here is some teaser photo.
Left is SC700d moded with XHP70.3HI 5700k and diced (removed white silicone and yellow phosphorus around die).
Right is SC700d with moded emitter XHP70.3HD 6000k.
Both are 90CRI and at M2 level

we have determined that Zebra built a light that is 4% less efficient than it could be..

should we Return for Refund
or
look for a battery w 4% more capacity
or
should we feel cheated, and depressed, and go get drunk to forget our imperfect Zebra? ;-)

and yet, if i had sent only 96% of the price of a light...

yea, zl would not send me the light.

4% means something... at least to me it does!!!

What, your not happy with the STOCK Zebralights you got.

What are you some kind of "Cry Baby", why don't you "get another hobby". You don't think Zebralight can pic a proper LED with correct tint; Do you pee on the lens to get all the dust off too...

You must be some kind of "Grandpa" or something; "don't read and believe everything you see or hear" on the internet. "please stop" Zebra knows what they are doing, stop changing things.

Your the kind of guy "having breakdowns" of the little stuff, "please stop" Never happy with anything are you... 2700k - 5000k - 519 - 719 - diced, nothings Perfect man!!

My gosh man, "just don't be a drama queen and don't cry about it" Get your friggen light in the mail, shut your mouth and stop messing with it. Go get drunk and be happy for once in your life...
