Thermal Imager

Where can I get a thermal imager ? Affordable one for my car ?
A lot of folks in Thailand drive without lights and particularly elephants can be difficult to see because of their unexpected size and unobvious color.
Such a thermal imager could massively improve safety.
Who has one ? Can recommend one ? Had trouble with such a thing ?
Or is this too much of an 007 thing yet ?

suggest the elephants be required to wear flashing LED vests...

They are somewhat into flashing bicycle taillights, clipped to the tail. Some also wear reflective stripes. But that's in Bangkok.

AFAIK it is an option for some Cadillacs. I haven't heard about 3rd party options for cars not so equipped. I haven't kept up on this though.
