If Vinh's analysis of the MK39 ranger is correct, and its throw reflector is literally just a U21, then a 35HI in a U21 with 2000ish lumen output would make 280kcd! It is bigger though.

Edit: hm, that can't be right. Both the V6 and U21 have roughly the same bezel diameter (58 and 59mm). So performance with 35 HI should be similar. Only tradeoff would be smaller size for less heatsinking on the V6.

Manker u21vn olson led drop 41 lumen in 30 seconds... thrunite catapult v6 drop 130 lumen in 30 seconds..

i think olson led have less heat, and turbo mode will stay brighter..

In my mind a no brainer. CATAPALT wins!

Plus you can choose any tint you want on the Catapult (even 80 and 90+ CRI). The XHP35 have no ugly tint shifts or anything else undesirable. The Oslon is very cold and the SST 7500K has a tint only a mother could love.
I got an unmodded Catapult and it's so good that it's almost boring. It's a flawless light except the weird mode spacing, but that is personal preference I guess.

Olson led might be cold for you, but they outsold over neutral tint.

IMO comparing numbers alone never does these lights or most things in life justice...I myself pick lower specs things daily simply because it suits my purpose or desire more. Comparing the three lights above is far from comparing apples to apples. All three have different battery configurations, LED options, beam profile, beam quality, ergonomics, looks, build quality, charging feature, reliability, user interface, heat handling, price, parasitic drain, upgradability, brand preference, weight, size, accessories availability...One of these thing alone can steer interest.

Thrunite catapult v6 put out a lot of lumen in shorter distance like 200-300 m.. this light is capable of what tn42 can do, except it doesn't throw farther like tn42..

We all know lumen number are no where close to manufacture claimed. This light is Indeed meet the manufacture ansi lumen or greater...
