Lots of jiborish out there on bulb tech. I recently had a halogen bulb go out on the wifes car and considering "upgrading"(?) to Xenon gas filled, not true metal halide lamps. I would just like to get a whiter, higher performance light from it since I have to buy a pair anyway. About all that is on egay is 5000K which to me looks more like a blue tint on the glass and probably not true Xenon gas. I am curious if there is any advantage here?
If so, what color temp would be acceptable? It looks like our HID Infiniti FX45 has 10,000K if the Inet data is correct. I do not want insanely blue light, just safer light.
