RC40vnT Throw edition- XML2 PDT + DriverVNX2: 7150 lumens, 1380 meters throw.

This item: Stock specs: 12000 lumens, 1301 meters throw.

This item: A lot more L words for similar throw.



RC40vnF Flood edition- 19000 lumens, 900 meters throw.

That makes it work for me. I mailed my money order to Vinh a few hours ago.

Good for me would be maximum battery performance instead of increased capacity. I will post rudimentary beamshots.

To be honest, this light perform about the same as tn40vn spec 4 or just a tiny better.. tn40vn spec 4 have 9000 lumen/ 500k lux.. x65vn have 3000 more lumen.. tn40vn spec 4 have 80k lux more..

That's a good point. 3000 lumens on top of 9000 is nothing astronomical. Kind of like 900 lumen 1x xpl vs 1200 lumen 1x xpl. It's only a tad brighter, but brighter nonetheless.

I think a more important difference between the X65vn and the TN40vn spec 4 is mass. The X65vn will take longer to heat up vs the TN40vn spec 4.

Wim, I have no idea the context of this statement but wow it cracked me up.

It's some kind of modder fetish involving large wires, old men and possibly whipped cream. That's all I know so far.
