Are LGDBMJ11865 good batteries?

I have these in my noctigon and I suspect they dont provide enough juice to give me the turbo mode that I hear so much this light outputs, anyone have any experience with this battery?

It should works, but not the best battery for the m43.. turbo mode will lag with this lg mj1.. i personally would not use lg mj1 in the m43.. i have samsung 30q button top on my m43.

They are absolutely fantastic batteries, just not for high amp situations. They are a long running battery.

I've got a few of these. Rated at 8amp continuous discharge. The meteor requires 10amp+. I agree your not getting the most from these in that host. Does strobe even work.

My biggest issue is that at almost 69mm they are too long for any of my carriers or even my multiple insert hosts without carriers. I can't believe you can even fully tighten down that tiny host with these

Looking again I have the protection IC mj1. So mine are longer at ~69mm. I think the unprotected mj1 is under 66mm. Unprotected should handle 10A fine continuous.

The MJ1 is a continuous 10A cell and the Meteor can run between 8A and 10A+, so you're running them, even sans PCB, at their limits.

You'll need button tops, but if you can't find the BT Samsung 30Q (15A) then look to the Sony's, or even the Samsung 25Rs (20A).
