I still have an old SS Maratac AAA somewhere. I think it’s the odd one that starts on medium like the old Fenix L0d. Tiny little thing.

Maybe the “Maratac” line was in-house? Dunno. Certainly their LEPs are not in-house.

Some people want their lights to start on low, some want them to start on high.
Then there’s the compromise: lights that start on medium and irritate “everyone*.
Since it is a flashlight, I'd say it's a rebrand. Some things County Comm make in-house though not their flashlights.
You can slap an in-house brand logo on anything. Would not be surprised at all to learn their lights are mostly Lumintop models, minus the cute bunny.
I believe ITP (olight) made most of the Maratac branded lights initially, then Lumintop.

I have received my Sapphire AAA lights and they are just as nice as people say they are. Buttery smooth threads, very lightweight, perfect tint and very smooth beam pattern. I need to get my old lanyard making supplies back out of storage just to make something nice enough to compliment these new additions to my collection. As the Sapphire is kind of a distant cousin of the ARC AAA I have reunited a few of them for a family photo. Two complete camo AAA versions along with a very old first version and the later version....enjoy.
Due to the astonishing level of incompetence in USPS my Sapphire will not be delivered today. It went back to a previous stop Instead of forward to my local PO.

The Manker E02ii has a low operating voltage of 0.7

It took a few days however Robyn did respond as of this morning. She advised they no longer had anything at all in 5mm and also nothing in the old gray anodizing they once made. She did however ask me to submit a list of what I would like and she would arrange a price quote. I feel these may not be available much longer so I am trying to get a larger order together. As this thread is about the AAA crowd I am planning on purchasing four of the standard Eigers as well as a 5th Eiger Ultra.....and two El-Capitan AA versions along with two Logan cr123 versions. You only live once I say and you cant take it with you when you go....may as well blow it all now (smile)Peak is consistent, if nothing else. If you had gotten an immediate response, I'd say something was horribly wrong!

Hopefully at least one of them is in stainless steel? I'm using my Al one frequently, but asked Robyn for a quote for a stainless version with a 519A in it; I feel that will be more robust. Just waiting on her response now...

TEX after looking through your recent photos I have decided to add two of the Eiger Ultras to my future order at Peak. I originally did not think I would like the forward heavy larger head on a little AAA body. The comparison pics shows it to actually be not be that bad and I actually kind of like it. Nice to see your Sapphire has arrived safely.

Several of the choices are in stainless as I think it just adds a little more to the rugged look for me. Robyn assured me the website was still operational as long as you do not require any custom add ons. Most of the orders she has been directly involved with were due to unusual requests such as sending her a certain type emitter for a build. I am having to have her assist me as well as I do have a request of single power level with no QTC pill on any of the lights I order.
I am excited to see them still sending out lights and yes it appears they are all built after they are ordered and as such may take a little time. I am ok with the wait as I still like the simple style of Peak and their potted head units have always been extremely reliable. I figured this out the hard way while trying long ago to mod one and it was almost impossible to get inside that bezel.

The knurling makes the body rather grippy, and the larger head is easy to manipulate. Much easier than most of my other twisty AAA lights. I have large hands. This makes a difference for me.
