A couple places by me have stopped posting prices so boldly. You have to pull in to see the prices on the pumps.

You lucky lot. If you think 4 bucks a gallon is bad, try $4NZD ($2.40USD) per litre (roughly 1/4 gallon) - that’s roughly $10/gal equivalent in USD. And then pay the same for diesel in commercial transport quantities. Our entire country depends on solely imported diesel, we have no redundancy worth mentioning.
And that’s without counting on the fuel stations running out, which they have been regularly…. No matter what the news says isn’t happening, there have been quite a few times when I’ve had to stretch to the next station to fill my truck because the first one I called on was empty.

This is a circus, and it’s hurting billions of people.

Put in $25.oo worth into the tank. That translates into roughly 2 gallons less.

Far be it from me to come the voice of reason, but consider pushing your car 20 miles for five bucks. YMMV.
