NC Piedmont here, barely got any rain from Helene. Happy about that, though, if the storm had gone further East, the total damage would have been so much less. Asheville was one of my favorite vacation spots. I'll always remember my Blue Ridge Parkway trip after college (paper map, no phone days) where I went from Roanoke VA down to Chattanooga TN, stopping at half a dozen tourist-accessible caverns along the way.
I am still not sure about two friends who live in N. Asheville, though. They were OK the day after the storm.

Family inland from Sarasota reported lots of wind on night of storm with some minor damage. Rain was moderate.

Power and cell service still out though.

Otherwise people are safe.

Checking in-- made it through Heleene and now Milton
Lost power both times - first storm for about 8 hrs , this storm we were out for 18 hrs
God was good to us here on the north central west coast of Fl.
Lots of debris but no structural damage- we are safe

Safe in So Cal, but planning a 3 generations move to Texas. Our youngest son was first 18 months ago and loves it. Called me 1 week after moving and said “it feels like I am back in America again!”

A bit of roof and water damage and no power for just over a week after Beryl hit Houston but all good on the recent storms coming out of the Gulf. Hope our Florida friends made it through Milton alright.

Central Illinois, sunny and 83 right now. We only have to worry about the occasional tornado's here. Talked to a buddy that lives in Cape Coral, aside from no power no damage there.

Thank you for your concern, everything is quiet here. I pray for Floridians, many of my friends are there. Saw the videos of the tornadoes and storms, the devastation was overwhelming.

I got an email asking me to check in I live in Portland Oregon so I don't think the hurricane is going to affect me but I have other issues I learned on April 20th that I have stage 3 colon cancer and I am not tolerating the chemo well but thanks for the email
