Well, in the last two hours things have gotten horribly worse with the blizzard. Official road closure. Police and Emergency vehicles only. Snow-plow trucks clearly can't keep up. Had to call out. That's twice this year. I haven't called out in over a decade! Manager at home, and the co-worker stuck at the client's site were both very understanding when I gave each of them a call to let them know I physically can't come into work. Not happy about losing out on a night's pay. But obviously nothing I can do about that.

And this is why there’s a travel ban. Essential personnel only. People getting stuck causing emergency services to have to rescue. Plows can’t get their job done. Etc. Hang tight for a day or two and things will improve.

Well, I'm not stupid enough to risk going out in this weather.
It's just annoying losing out on a night's pay.
But yes, I realize it's too dangerous to risk it.

Went to a store this morning, it is withing 3 min walk, I would not drive even without ban, i saw roads were plowed some time before, but long enough to accumulate 3-4 inches, i'll have to drive to work tomorrow, will come out in an hour or so to dig out the car and clean the snow off it, there should not be any snow at night, but no doubt plows will block me again, and I'll have to dig more tomorrow, but not as much as if I do not shovel today. Positive side, it is not cold this time, barely 32f.

I had a great work out shoveling my car out today, it was not cold, not windy, it was fun this time, last time when it was windy and -17 it was not fun at all, even thou snow was light and dry.

Actually he's been "borrowing" my electricity for about a year. He connected a wire to my breaker box and is paying my full electric/gas bill as compensation. Nobody is living there now so the heat is off. The house is still under construction (note the green fences).

It's feels about the right time, so...there's 5 individuals running the world, with quite a few wealthy families under their thumbs. They're not the richest people in the world, but they fall under a heiarchy that classifies as "old world". You're absolutely correct, the average person would not even know the names or faces of these individuals, and some of them subscribe to old world polygamous standards to maintain anonymity, marrying for power and influence, with multiple identities, constantly "killing off" their other fake identities. They dress VERY plainly, and very few people would recognize them, as they live and behave as if they are one of the common folk.

The craziest part? Three of them themselves do not realize that they are each one of the five, saying or influencing things a certain way, subliminally guiding the path of global affairs with thoughts, words, or personal ideologies. The two that ARE self aware actively influence the other three, and are at odds with each other.

Another strange thing is that for some reason, each of the five are intrinsically charasmatic, to the point where it could feel like mind control or irresistible conscious manipulation if you're aware.

Jim Jones levels of Charisma is the one thing all truly powerful leaders have.
I met a young woman like that several years back. Very toxic. Thankfully while she had the charisma, she lacked the desire to use it anywhere near her full potential. I learned quite a bit from her. Including her real full-name. Wasn't hard. Like all such individuals, you don't get the charisma without a huge dose of arrogance. Maybe don't leave easy-to-follow clues behind. Two of us found out who she really was. She didn't enjoy that. And, chose to just disappear. Good riddance.

Fun unrelated story: So at one of our family vacation homes, we weren't there often enough to justify getting internet service. For the longest time we'd connect to a WiFi SSID of a relatively common surname.

So my dad's in court in Virginia. All of the attorneys on the case are being sociable outside the courtroom. All of them were locals, except my dad. So, of course they ask, "Where are you from?" and he responds. One of the attorneys said, "Oh, I have a vacation home in a small town in Florida." "We have one there too." "Oh really? Ours is in _________." "Ours is there too!" then my dad realises, "Oh, you're <surname>! I've been borrowing your WiFi for years!"

It's a small world.

We wrapped up our east coast medical stay on Sunday, almost 20 days over there. It was 70F, low (35%) humidity. We had the windows and doors open all day. We will survive.

It did made loading the car MUCH easier than when it's 95F with high humidity. She's not up for any real exertion, and my body absolutely hates humidity, so it worked out with my carrying everything down to the car.

Of course, as I type this, it's currently 30F outside and it's only 2a. 20s in Florida... it happens, BUT, I think I need to move further south.

What...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow and sleet accumulations up to one inch and ice accumulations around a light glaze.

When...From noon Sunday to 9 AM CST Monday.

Then the usual blah blah blah about impacts, driving conditions, etc.

Winter is officially over here. Highs 82F-87F all week. Still much lower humidity than normal, which I'll take.

At the same time it's brush fire season down here, and with all of the cold weather freezing out the grass and plants, it's turning out to be quite a fierce one already.
