Think I got bit by a dang snake

Was walking thru woods 2 hours ago felt bad pain now it looks like my leg is swelling .ironically if it wsnt for the pain I'd just go to sleep I'm so sick of all the mess in world does on leg look bigger then other or is my brain tricking me

I know for sure now omg the pain is so bad but my bp is ok but the swelling is bad . Wtf my life is cursed even ifi go to er they will have to send me to a big city then how do i get home. Rofl its funny btw i can deal with pain till i try to walk which im old so i have to walk to bathtroom every 20 minutes
Im guessing its a coperhead due to i see them most often but didnt see one tonight

Yeah it looks lil lumpy. Try ice pack or package of frozen veggies works for the swelling, NSAID might help for pain

Ill wait a bit more btw if i die im going to be pissed true story i bought a watch 3 years ago becuase i thought it could measure blood presure a course it coudnt in the usa till today lol. Have no idea how it does it orvwhen feature was added but i saw it a hour ago

If it bit you in the neck that would have been worse. Keep that leg immobile. I'd wash the bite area with dial then use rubbing alcohol. See how it looks in morning

If it was a copperhead, then you can probably tough it out without treament.
But the smart play is to get medical help -- bites can get complicated, and you don't really know who bit you.
I'm glad to hear that the swelling is going down. Is the pain receding too?

Your legs do look a little lop-sided. If you don't die, go back out on the same trail and see if the snake will bite the other leg to match.

(Or, at least a local cab service to drive you to the E.R.)

As for getting back home, maybe you won't need to go to a huge hospital.
Copperhead bites in your neck of the woods are probably common enough that the local E.R. likely will be able to treat it.
