Oh! Well thanks for letting me know. I think my dad did the duct work on our house, so that would explain why we have one. But for some reason, I have no memory of him putting the duct work in, just helping him sheet rock it in. He must have put the duct work in when I was visiting a relative that summer the house was built.
I guess I can sell it when I come across it again!
I think we've all had those. That's where the phrase "Hold my beer" came from, right?
