GWF-1000-A1j 53mm case is close to my limit on a humble 7.5" wrist.
Love the tide graph. We just had King tides here on West Coast. G Shock screen graphic showed a huge moon, and in the heavens the moon was enormous;-)

Been eye balling Frog GWF-A1000XC analog at Sakura.. Perhaps I'll pull the trigger later this year after recovering $$ from holidays🤙

Old school Eco-Drive. Needs a battery though and I haven't found a place that I would trust to change it :( The back doesn't look like it comes off easily.

Yeah, sadly you are not going to. Those special batteries?
Two options. One, buy one online, change the battery yourself if you have the experience with Eco-Drives and the right tools. Or, Contact Citizen and make arrangements to ship the watch off to Japan for them to do it. Not sure what the cost of a new battery with servicing will be, plus the back and forth shipping or down time. But those are your best options if the watch has sentimental value to you.

😍👌🏻

Switched to the “beater” since I’m working on the classic Mini. Took a short break after tapping out the old ball bearings in the rear hubs. Going to be swapping in upgraded taper-roller bearings.

I had one of these, very similar , but at the time didn’t realise , a lefty! So the crown on the left side ideally to be worn on the right wrist !

My 1st ever G after maybe 20yr gap, can’t even remember how long back but guess 2014 ish. JDM GDF 100bb which is quite a rare one. Having worn autos for a decade or so, I simply wanted a tough digital watch to break up the analog ones. It was still maybe 2yrs after this till I added another G shock, that time an analog GG1000 mud master which was analog but not solar an 2 sensor iirc . One that I found out ,was one of the most faked G shocks on the planet . Usually the design of the actual mode dial and hand, gave the fakes away. Very hard to tell. If bought one for less then £150 new it was fake too!!! As it should have been £299 rrp G shock. I digress ….
GDF100bb which today is quite rare and some demanding quite a premium, even 2020 condos time some prices at £600, love or hate, for me love😀

The day that a masculine Gshock is released in under 10mm thickness at around 41mm in diameter with a 22mm lug width, I think I'd be in for that one, lol...my favorite form factor watch right now is the Tsukiyomi AT from CitIzen, but upon further reflection, the dial is just too busy and...cookie cutter. There's small design and aesthetic changes I would make, including removing the non-chronometer pushers and opting instead for a selector pinpress button, the stupid "TITANIUM" and "RADIO CONTROLLED" and "NORTH/SOUTH" lettering by the moon phase, the "full/empty" lettering in favor of a bar, and somehow lumed the moon phase. I would also have opted for the dark purple edition had it been available in the States at the time...
Check the 9110 out, it’s tough as obv don’t know your taste but I can tell you it’s a cracking G and popular in the military’s along with the 6900 etc. I’m sure it has a titanium back plate. Looks nicer in the resin and it’s fair cheap / good bang for buck and makes an excellent beater without the heft and bulk .

I've seen that one, not my cup of tea unfortunately

Do like the orients , really nice watch / value for the money. Something that’s escaped me for to long!
Yeah. Although this particular model, the Orient Pro Saturation Diver OSD300, wasn't especially cheap either at release or now on the used market. Most Orients tend to be though for sure.
