Let's see what happens when she tries handing you yet another bag, and you politely say "No."

Good to see you too BB hang around for awhileI’m back on a trial run Gary. Good to see ya
Beautiful! I like square and rectangular minute indices much better than the round ones. Those, the day/date complication, and a good rotating bezel make for my ideal watch.Okay, keeping with my recent "Bezel Swap" theme, here is the SKZ325 half of my SKZ323-325 Bezel Swap.

These black dial / silver bezel swaps are not as dramatic as the white dial / black bezel swaps but I still like them better than the original black on black on black design.
What do you think?

If you could figure out a way to shorten the buttons/switches, please let me know. I've always liked the look of the bare "core"...For my entire watch wearing lifespan I've worn relatively standard, serious watches. It was only a couple of years ago that I broke down and got the G-Shock GAB2100 in black. Having both the Tough Solar and Bluetooth time sync features makes the watch so easy - always charged, always accurate to the second.

Admittedly, a fairly tiny step away from my other watches.
Turns out, the hands on the Yellow version of the GAB2100 are larger than the black version - seems odd, but there it is. I wanted the larger hands, but in the black version, so I bought the yellow version and swapped the guts with my black version.
Yellow guts in the black bezel.

Left over: Black guts with the yellow parts.

So for a couple of years the black guts and yellow parts sat in storage - I had planned to sell.
Fast forward to recently and I've turned a new leaf. For reasons unknown, I decided to give a try to wearing the yellow watch, which was previously too odd/bold looking to my taste. I decided that a red silicon strap (much nicer than the G-Shock's rubber strap) would make for a decidedly fun and different look for me. And I've been wearing it for over a week now. Funny how one's tastes can morph over time.
I figured that if I was going to sport such a bold color as yellow, I might as well go all out with the style and dress it up with the red silicon strap. All yellow was too yellow for me. The red contrast breaks that up and, oddly enough... I actually like it! (Not for all occasions, of course.)

These silicone straps are so much more comfortable & flexible than G-Shocks rubber ones.

One other cool thing about the G-Shock GAB2100 series model is how easily modded it is. There are quite a variety of bezels, colors, and strap options that can be modded, including steel bezels and bracelets.
The bezel is needed to attach the strap. And the bezel covers the majority of the buttons, so... I don't know.If you could figure out a way to shorten the buttons/switches, please let me know. I've always liked the look of the bare "core"...
Just curious.... Did the old one stop working properly?Soon,a brand new Casio G-Shock GW-9400 from Amazon.com.
(Replacing a old version of the same model that I've had since 2021.)
The batteries arrived in a regular postage envelope. Private seller on amazon.I ordered 2 of the SR626SW last week on Amazon in the US for $5 delivered - but so far they aren’t shipping. I’ve had to confirm 3 times. I’ll probably have to pick them up locally.
I prefer the Hamilton. But then again it's probably because I prefer the Hamilton.Oh, definitely the Tissot.
