To me the Arc AA is a nice looking, sturdy light. AA with a Lux and multiple settings would be nice. Are they able to be modded with a Goldserve produced board or by Miller Mods?

Just dusted mine off and lubed it up last night. It really is a little jewel. For me it's pretty much a shelf queen, but that's okay. Sorry, not for sale. I still enjoy looking at it too much.

This is theARC AA (picture)

the seller informed me it was a :
"this one is the very last run. I have included a photo, notice the minimal engraving. I don`t think there were too many produced like this as it was right at the end when all went wrong"

I hope it is a nice one and a good one (functional and collectible)

Any opinions?

I paid £ 38 for the light (+shipping £4.60)

Kind regards,
Joris

You guys are a bad influence, Not only did I pull out the 6 I have, 2 modded and 4 stock, but went and bought another one. I must say, these are a "must have" light for any flashaholic! Thanks for getting me excited about my old ARC AA's :)

Eric (Millermods) does an EXCELLENT job on the Arc-AA 2-stage luxeon mod.
I have a 1W, and two 1.5W 2-stage mods. The 1.5W with a quality NIMH battery can get as much as 1.5 to 2 hours runtime. Low runs practically forever.

They are all nice mate, yours looks to be in the same excellent condition that I recieved mine in, the minimal text/engraving is a bonus for collectability - And I've got to say, although I don't have dozens of flashlights, the knurling on the Arc AA's is the best I have ever seen...so nice and slick!.

BTW, Are you happy with it? Gonna get it modded? I'm going to get in touch with Eric Miller this month...be nice to have one of my AA's turned into two stage ***-kicking light before the year is out.

22hornet, very nice looking light and good photo. Don't worry about its value as an "investment"--what matters is whether you enjoy having it and using it.

FrankenArc is a Peak Kilmanjaro pocket body, and a dead-head ARC AA from Cy. Since it's a color mismatch (black body & HA natural head), I stripped and polished them both prior to shipping it out for modification. It has "WOW" factor. Nobody else has one, especially non-flashaholics.

Today I got my ARC AA from Bulbmuseum.
It's beautiful! Not as bright (rechargable cell) as a new AAA premium though, but still useful. Beam is more like a Fenix E0 or my Peak Kilimanjaro 1led HP.

When handling ARC lights, one comes to understand the hype over this brand. It's like small Surefires.

when you do get your ARC AA modded, please don't destroy your original head. I've got dead ARC AA heads available to mod with.

it'd be a shame to kill a good ARC AA head :green:
