Great looking setup, not to mention the body color of that light too.

I still have the "Robin Hood" compound that was gifted to me by a dear friend from my Army days. We've come a long way... I've had surgery on both shoulders, so I can relate to the therapy aspect. Shooting this weekend with my brother in law. I saw the Dark Adaption red on the HDS sight, can you compare to the hyper red? I love the Burnt Bronze as a stabilizer, sweet use of a very versatile clip!!! I've had varying success with JBWeld, If it were my $350.00 light hanging out there I would maybe buy a real small worm (radiator hose) clamp from AutoZone or someplace similar, spray it black or tan, and secure it around the bolt/ pocketclip just in case. Awesome idea though!

The Dark Adaption Red is a different LED at about 630nm. The Hyper Red is an Osram 660nm LED. Moonshadow pointed them out to me on the first run, and he gets credit for it.
Comparing both side by side, the Hyper Red makes the Dark Adaption Red look orange.
Here they are side by side. Hyper Red on left and Dark Adaption Red on right.

Oh, yes. I'll be testing that JB Weld out before this hits the field!

I bought a used rotary(Nichia 170 219b) that was set-up as follows:

It has click on/click off at any of 24 levels so i can preselect the light before turn on.

However it also has momentary enabled so I can turn the knob down to low & press hold for momentary for low or I can turn it up to say level 18 and a press hold will give me level 18 momentary. I really like the ability to have any light output available to me in either momentary mode via a press hold or in constant mode via a click.

It's quite a nice UI that surpasses even my old Liteflux programming IMO.

This discussion of momentary has me thinking why shouldn't I enable momentary on all my EDC Executive lights? What is the downside? If I don't find it useful, I can just click the light on the way I do now. Am I missing something? Will I be losing a feature by enabling momentary?

As far as I can tell you lose NOTHING.

The only difference I can see if it's disabled is that when you "press hold" from off nothing happens.

It's super useful when you need just a few seconds of light. No need to click on & then click off. Just press & release so there's less chance of fumbling with the light & maybe dropping it.

I don't normally post pictures of my own flashlight holsters here, but this one just turned out way too cool.
I hardly have the time to make anything for myself anymore, but wanted something for SHOT to hold a few of my HDS lights, so I was up until 0200 last night working selfishly on my new HDS holster... for me.

The insert is snug, and won't come out when you pull a light out, but you can take it out and use 4 lights at the same time, WHY would you do this you ask... well, a red (dark adaption or Hyper), green (game illuminator), blue (forensic light), all set to slow strobe with a white set to fast strobe, and you have a party just ready to go! The insert is snug enough that the lights won't fall out, yet can still be pulled out easily.

Oh yeah. There's a belt clip on the back.
