Re: WTS: Baby TK61vn (Must Must Have 5 Stars)

That'll be a butler creek see through scope cover with some diffuser film. Or atleast that's what is on my s200. A blizzard #7 to be exact.
Found it, I'll order one tonight and use my diffuser film. THANK YOU!

Is this version readily available?:naughty::naughty::naughty: I presume mode changing is by momentarily releasing the not-yet-fully-clicked-on tailcap switch?

Not readily available. I am low on drivers so its not officially released yet

I had to wait for a week while it sat on my desk because I had it shipped to my work address, forgetting I was on vacation that week. Dumb move on my part.

Well worth it though! All I can say is wow! I must say this light is absolutely amazing! Thank you for the awesome light Vinh!

You might get a few more orders for these from my buddies in the future!

I'm interested in a 4.2A XP-G2 dedome. Does it keep the lower modes the same as stock?

Man i'm torn between this light or 1 of the larger ones (M25C2vn or M2Xvn). I'm trying not to rush my decision but i'm leaning towards this one because i'm starting to believe the theory that the larger single 18650s will evolve into 26650s. Like i'd rather have a 18650 body on this light, but i'd rather have a 26650 body on the M2X or M25C2

...Edit about 2 hrs later...decided on the more compact S200C2vn!!! Can't wait to get it! Thanks Vinh

Do like the rest of us--Get all 3 of them--the S200C2vn is a good choice--get you some Efest purples or Samsung 25R to run it at full potential

Good choice! This is the best jacket pocket or rifle mounted thrower I have. Mine's the s200vnT in xml2. The "T" option is totally worth the extra $35 if you can swing it. I got it because I wasn't crazy about the 2 handed UI for this particular light. Other, bigger lights it's fine but for this one and its uses switching modes with the tail cap is the way to go. The extra brightness over the regular vn model doesn't hurt either! The T upgrade model hasn't been tested by JMPaul320 yet but I agree with the sentiments of the other T owners that it's almost as bright as the direct drive model.

I'm going to go look for the numbers Justin posted and post it here in a few min.

Edit: here are the numbers reposted

Eagletac s200c2vn XML2 PDT Direct Drive single mode
Samsung 20r
1266@ turn on
1227@ 30 sec
Throw - 153,000 Lux

Eagletac s200c2vn XML2 PDT
Samsung 20r
1063@ Turn on
1024@ 30 sec
290 mid
16 low
Throw - 123,000 Lux.

This light is a real winner i got it today. I'm starting to gravitate towards single 18650s for convenience of carry and this thing is so impressive for something SO light, and something that fits in sweatpant pockets (jeans are a little too tight & uncomfortable of a fit). I feel like from now on when it comes to throw i'm only gonna have 1 ridiculously large canon and other than that i'll just have small throwers. Besides that 1 special purpose giant light i don't think the throw advantage is worth going from 1 18650 to 3 or 4. A S200C2vn and TK61vn V3.5 or Maxabeam :)

I'm curious how the 4 mode driver works?

Do you leave the head always tightened and switch by half presses on the tail cap?

Any aproximate lumen numbers on the lower 3 modes? I'm most interested in the lowest mode...

I just received this model yesterday. It is mode change via half presses only on tail cap. Mode change via Head tighten/loosen is disabled.
I have the 3 mode model also, and the lowest mode seems about the same on each light which is too bright to be considered a moonlight mode.
The 4 mode model has visually brighter hot spot than 3 mode model. I don't have any light meters, so can't answer about lumens.
