So this is what has been distracting me for the past few days.

A lot of my customers racing in this race. Qualifying is today. So far one customer is qualified 8th and one 12th out of 110 racers, but the top guys qualify last so that will probably change a bit. Rooting for my friends Loren Healy and Randy Rodd whose race truck we built in less than a week.

This is my Vital Gear FB2 Body/Tail with E to C Adaptor, Surefire Head, Sportac XPG2 Triple CW

AKA: "Lotus"

I engraved designs and filled in with Glow powder/Epoxy mixture. I also filled in optics with mixture as well.

So I just finished reading the enitre 2014 lounge (needed a serious Vinh fix), took a couple of weeks, but now I am caught up.
Some pretty cool stuff...Subaru's, Kanagaroo's...Triple Quads... OMG (WOOT).

Now I need to pick out a new light for me as I only have Vinh's dropins (CQvn, P2500 and a 3000K mule that is amazing) plus a E1B anniv modded to a 4000K XRE.
Not sure what direction I want to go, but looking at LD50, Olight SR52 or MX25L3vn and possibly the D25v3 as I gifted a V1 to a client of mine and he is thrilled with it (could do an S10vn as an option for small light). The TM06vn looks cool, but I am not wild about the side and tail switch combo. TN36 looks cool too.

So what do some true Vinhaholics think?

Depends if you want flood (MM15vn) throw (TK61vn) or a bit of both (TK75vn KT or X60vn)

Recently got an LD50vn. The current boost and dedome didn't do what some would normally think to the output.

Firstly, you're burning charge faster... current boost. So it's wicked brighter, yes? Dedome often reduces total output.

No, not really. Overall lumens output didn't spike like Lindsey Lohan after an AA meeting. What did happen, though, is a pretty fat throw from a light with no head or optics to speak of.

Love the tint on mine, Fiat Lux "Loaded." It's really warm and I dig it very much. I even have the engraved auxiliary copper thermal mass and and polish job.

greatscoot - here is my vote for an over the top Vinh light these days - http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?391832-MX25L3Cvn-KIT-AKA-The-6X-Best-of-2014 I have the 6XPvn - XPG2 PDTc (kit) and it has fast become my favorite. Small package, easy and intuitive UI, great amount of light (flood), beautiful white beam (a very slight hint of yellow) and lots of extra toys.
Just one idea. :candle:

For a small light, the S10vnT is great - the magnetic tailcap is insanely useful. Also, the mode spacings are good, and the moonlight is great. Not as bright as the D25Cvn, but far more practical, IMHO.

So I'm going on a trip soon, trying to think which flashlights can I take with me on board? I don't plan on checking any bags in, just a backpack and an overhead carry on.. Do you guys have any experience with TSA and lights? My S10vn is going on with me for sure. On a side note, I lost $600 today in stocks.. damn it!! That could have been a fully loaded x60mvn and another awesome Vinh light

Yep, last time i flew to California, I brought several lights. The single 18650 lights were no problem...think I had three of those. They did take a look at the Nitecore TM26 (X-rayed my bag twice and them asked me to take it out), swabbed it for chemical residue, asked me to turn it on. When I did, "Holy $^%!" was the reaction I got. All in all it was about a five minute delay.

Note your cells must be inside the light...loose cells are not allowed, in carry-on or in checked bags.

You only lose money in stocks if you cash out...market fluctuation is no reason to worry, as long as you aren't drawing on it now (or at least soon). Let it ride!
