is there any chance that there will be any black non-crenelated bezels ready for the next batch of wasp heads?

I'm waiting for an incan-like 2900-3500k tinted version dedomed or with XPL-HI for some throw! Actually, I've been waiting for something like this since I posted in late 2012!

There is the potential for more colors, but not until we've sold through a few batches with the standard color.

No. We don't make enough of these to make a single version by itself. We'll have to wait until we need more of the other styles as well. Sorry.

Yes, as a general rule, features that provide the most benefit with the least confusion are turned on by default. Cell protection (necessary for IMR) and runtime stretch (huge benefit/cost) both fall under this classification. Bounce protection varies with the reflectivity of surfaces and the signal can cause confusion while learning to program so its left off.

And sorry for the thread confusion. As we introduce new v5 products, this will be the master thread. Wasp and other threads can serve specific features and questions.

I have not tried .35, I didn't see it an an option when programming.

When you click the down arrow and then LOAD, do you see the yellow text at the top?:

Update
For easier access, there is now also a 55C temperature setting in the same LOAD menu - above fast switch timing

you cannot edit public templates (like temperature or switch adjustment). To modify a "protected" parameter you need to apply the public template first and then your program. After programming a public template the light starts with programming mode asking to apply a user program.

In a nutshell, you change the temperature to a cooler value, you need:

1) Load "55C temperature cutoff" template and program it. It changes the temperature cutoff value in the protected section but it also cleans up all modes. So when you switch your light on, it starts with programming

2) Open or create a custom program. And program it over the template. User programs have no access to the protected section so the programmed temperature cutoff remains with no change.

If you need to return to factory values - load the factory template and then apply your custom program over it.

Hope that helps

I'm not able to load Temp. cut-off, Fast switch timing or the factory reset. This may not have anything to do with what you are saying because honestly I'm completely lost. It's not a big deal really. I read a few posts back that the switch timing could be changed and wanted to do it. I can't figure it out....

I've noticed that with the faster timing the "off time" is also faster. Would it be possible for the fast switching, and slower "off time"?

This is about what the current options feel like vs my preferred setup.

Stock switch timing :Release ---> Press again within .6 - 1.5 seconds to switch modes
Faster switch Timing :Release ---> Press again within .35 - .75 seconds to switch modes
My preferred Timing :Release ---> Press Again within 0.01 - 1.0 second to switch modes

I hope this makes sense, I do not want to be able to double tap the switch and stay on the same mode. I would like if it could switch instantly and give me a little more time if needed.
