Save yourself a headache and watch it on mute.

The wristlights, Sidekick, aren't new. Really nothing to note as being exciting. SF is putting a lot of effort into this Intellibeam stuff.

The new SureFire FirePak cellphone battery and light mates with a SF case that is already listed on Amazon. Looks like there are cases for the iPhone 6 and 6S and the old Samsung Galaxy S5. According to Amazon, the SF phone cases are made in China.

What next, SureFire keychains? Well SF has recently applied for the 'Lightkeeper' trademark described as a 'Non-metal holder for keys, flashlights, and other small items':

Intellibeam on everything! Seriously. I suppose it has it's merits but I can think of a few situations in which I wouldn't want that.

If the case is made in China it won't be welcoming to me but I may have to get one for the light! Intellibeam I ve not read anything good, like Windows 8. I need a light where I m the boss not the other way around

The phone case with power pack and light is the only thing IMO worth taking a look at from Surefire this year. The USB on the P1R would make it more desireable if they would have boosted output. I'm happy with my P1R the way it is. Would take a major upgrade for me to buy another.

The price is not bad for the case. I'm curious what the power pack will cost?

There is a post from Triple Bravo on SureFire's Facebook page that says the price will be $249 and the light will put out 1500 lumens. The picture of the prototype with the 'X' serial number seems to me to have slightly different reflectors for the two emitters. The labeling on the prototype says FirePak 1500.

Here's a link to the photo (not sure if you have to be logged into Facebook or not):

That video is depressing. Especially the new M600U. What happened to the TIR lens, tan finish, and included tape switch...? All the new products scream cheap and gimmicky. :( And WTF is with all the plastic!?!? I could go on but I just feel sick...

nothing revolutionary in the video for me to get excited about,i'm also one of the surefire customers who doesn't get this intellibeam obsession. I'm very happy the way my surefire lights perform without an
intellibeam gimmick on them,I would have liked to have seen something new that uses an 18650 battery now that they have dipped their toe in the water with the Peacekeeper.

Amen brother!

I literally just bought a M600U desert tan w/ST07 and Z68. I had to check almost 25 different dealers before I found it at TNVC.*

I was pissed when Surefire stopped offering desert tan 4-5 months ago and dropped the option to buy the Scout with both switches (ST07 + Z68).

From the sound of the video, the current M600 Scout w/ could be replaced with a larger, reflector-based, Intellibeam POS.

This is basically a weapon mounted P2X. Didn't they already try this approach with the M600P Fury (which has quietly disappeared from the website)?
Intellibeam is a terrible idea for a weapon light. Just say no.:fail:
It's unrelated but...I don't understand why anyone would want to attach a gigantic flashlight to their phone.

*ETA, turns out TNVC is actually out of stock. I like the idea behind Intellibeam but unproven tech on a weapon light gives me the ebejeebies.
