Now that I think about it that makes sense. 1 X 18650 for all the output would not work and I guess the size of the LED would probably be an issue also.

I have now gotten 4300 Lumen and a tad over 900Kcd. The beam is now tuned perfect! This is still with a normal PFET driver pulling about 18A. With a developing Buck Driver pushing 20A+ we hope to improve this beast even more ;-)
