Are we (Americans) getting stupid?
One might argue that owning several good flashlights indicates that he is a forward thinker, prepared for any unseen issues. And in today's dot-bomb world with the shifting paradigms of the new economy he is proactive ... ok ok I'll stop there it's making me want to pound my head into my desk... -

Wear should not be too much of an issue unless you REALLY mean "very often". Its pretty easy to change them out, unscrew the bezel, take the old one out, drop in the new one and screw the bezel back on, all done! Just make sure the threads are lubed and you don't cross thread the parts and you...- Fizz753

Standard aluminium retaining ring for C/P D26 heads.
It does look like Solarforce has come out with a flat bezel ring. I cant find anyone who has it for sale though. Any doubt about winter...
11/21/2008 0634 PM Heavy snow m8.0 inch, reported by trained spotter. 2.5 inches of snow between 7am and noon EDT. Storm total is 8.9. Guess who lives in the lake effect snow belt next to Lake Michigan. :)
