    Well considering that the max amperage draw of any HDS light is 1A from a 3V Lithium cell I would imagine it's less than 1A for a Li-on cell due to the higher voltage providing the same wattage for the comparable wattage draw.

    Makes sense, once I had my 4K I basically stepped out of the group buy domain. And yes mine was one of the 1st run lights which was nice because I only had to wait 4-6 months unlike the 2nd run lights that were over a year IIRC.

    I have a 4000K 1st round group buy that I'm almost positive is an XP-L & not a 219x emitter. The big reveal for the initial 4000K run was that they were also 325 lumen lights like the then standard 5700-6200K XP-L that was the default offering at the time.
