    They were able to improve on the output. The EDC1/2-DFT uses the same heads as Turbo (Mini) Scout Light Pros. I was told ETA for EDC1 is mid-June but I have been lied to before also...

    No clue but US dealers who placed back-orders (SKU was in the SF price list for well over 1+ year) should get it sooner.

    They're (finally) shipping. I should get mine by Thursday/Friday this week if I'm lucky.

    SF released their 2018 price list. Tactician is definitely on there. It's listed as 800 lumens instead of 700. Certain models like the new 1500 lumens Fury is listed as "Duel Fuel" which accepts the 18650 as well as CR123.

    Got my U2 back last night and I'm very happy with the result. Beam has the same spill but with much more neutral tint. The power ring works as designed. Never had any of my lights modded before but I highly recommended it! As per Nitroz:

    SF has lost its ways after PK left... they're making it 400 lumens "because they can". I wish I still have my original E1B but it was stolen along with my backpack. :(

    5 lumens is too low and 400 is too high for high... does an average person need a 400 lumens single-cell EDC light?

    Surefire UM2 Ultra

    I'm going to get it back soon hopefully but I think it's worth it. $65 vs $250 for a new light that is pretty much the same. Dimension/weight of the UM2 is no different than U2, other than changing some of the aesthetics and clicking in on each stage, it's basically a U2 with an updated emitter.
