I used to buy Efest 10440 batteries for myi pen size laser light.
Are there any good brands out there apart from Efest as I find them hard to find here in Australia?
CHEERS GUYS
I have heard from people that the Olight X7R lets water in at the USB slider cover.
I have the Olight X7 and it is a great light and I was definitely going to buy the newer X7R but the water ingress possibility is a worry.
Has anyone have any info on this?
Yes it is dear but it really lights up those dirty bits quite well.
I think I have found the best of the small and large lights to take with me when I am away from home.
I have bought some UV flashlights lately but the UVBeast is by far the best and is truly a "BEAST".
The lights are listed below.
Larger lights.
UVBeast with 100 LEDs.
Taotronics TT-FL002 with 51 LEDs.
Smaller sized 18650 lights.
Jaxman U1.
Convoy S2+.
Countryman EDC S+.
The best of...
I have a Jaxman U1 for fairly close-up stuff as it is very intensive and runs on 1 x 18650 li-ion battery.
I have a very bright UVBeast with 100 LEDs installed.
It runs on 6 x AA batteries and covers a good area.
Both will not disappoint you.
CHEERS
I now have one of these and it gets really hot very fast on Turbo.
Great light output and coverage.
The heat is a real turn off for me and therefore I could not recommend this light to anyone.
I have a TK75vnQ70 that runs on Turbo at about 14,000 lumens but takes a lot longer to heat up than...
My LE 50 Seeker battery gave up recently just a month after receiving it.
My local dealer replaced the Olight special 26650 for me and said this failure was common in these lights.
He said Olight used a bad batch of batteries.
I won't be buying any lights that use these propriatry batteries...
I have the Mini Maglite Pro + now.
I am very happy with it.
It is rated at 281 lumens and the cool white beam tint looks good to me.
It has a low mode by pointing the head directly down and turning the light on.
CHEERS
I have had this kit for over a week now and I do not see any green in the tint.
And green tint is my worst enemy in flashlights!
The lowest mode is ok to be low but there is no moonlight available at all.
BUMMER.
Whatever happened to holding the on/off button down for a couple of seconds...
I meant in throw mainly but the light also has plenty of lumens and peripheral coverage.
I have the TN40 and the TN42C.
The battery set-ups are interchangeable.
CHEERS
After shaving the dome did you notice any green in the tint?
Some throwers that I have are the Acebeam K70, Olight SR95-UT and the Thrunite TN40.
I now have the TN42C.
The TN42C kills the rest of the pack that I own.
CHEERS
Thrunite TN42 & TN40 will accept both the 4 x 18650 pack & the rechargeable pack.
The Thrunite TN42 and TN40 heads will accept both the 4 x 18650 pack and the rechargeable pack.
This was confusing to me and probably a lot of other guys as well.
These are all interchangeable.
CHEERS
What a tight beam this new arrival has.
It is tighter than my TN40 for sure.
The tint is a very nice and clean cool white.
The UI is typical Thrunite.
God only knows what will be the next flavour of the month in throwers or flooders for that matter.
