    flashlight recommendation request

Thank you, for the recommendation, but the stinger is way to big. My original stinger served me well until it finally died of old age, starting me on my quest for new lights. I just picked up a Fenix PD36 for everyday field use as it charges with USB-C, but this light will be carried while...

    flashlight recommendation request

Thank you all for the replies. I will probably opt for the RRT-01, but will look at the HDS. And this is why I love this forum. Helpful people shining light on the unilluminated.

    flashlight recommendation request

I am looking for advise with a new light. I used to carry the Sunwayman V11R every day at work and loved it for the quick access to the highest settings and the ability for it to fit into my everyday carry. Unfortunately, it fell one day and no longer works. Since then, I tried several...

    Customer Service Phone Number

Does anyone have a new number for Nitecore? I went to the website to ask about a couple broken Tubes, but the phone number is disconnected. I sent an email, but wanted to call also. Thanks for any assistance.

Newbie question: Batteries for SUNWAYMAN F30R?? or RCR123A/16340 in general??

Your answer depends on how you use your light. This light takes 3 batteries so you have two choices of type. Primary lithium batteries (non-rechargeable) are plentiful and can be had in bulk for a little over a buck each. On the other hand, if you will be shopping at a uniform shop or...

    Newbie questions

I am by no means an expert, but I have been using lights for many years that have adjustable beams (ie: streamlights, magchargers, etc). What I found at after years of using them, I would find a setting that worked for me and then never touched that setting again. When I upgraded to modern...

Need help finding an EDC knife

The 350 is a little bigger than I was looking for, but I like the blade better than the 770. I did find one place that had the 770 with a different handle, but it was aluminum. Now if I could find one with a Micarta or G10 handle, I might have to bite the bullet and just plunk down for one.

Need help finding an EDC knife

Its the 0770CF. I used to carry a Spyderco Delica. Love the steel. Held it's edge forever. I was looking for an assisted flipper though and have not seen anything with the flipper bump coming from them.

Need help finding an EDC knife

I managed to find one, but it's a little more than I hoped to spend. It is the ZT S30V. Great little knife, but at $180, just a touch too rich for me. Any other suggestions?

Need help finding an EDC knife

I am looking for recommendations for an EDC knife to be carried tip up in my left pocket. It needs to be a smooth flipper like the Ken Onion Chive and be thin and elegant like the chive to wear with dress clothes. The problem is that most of the knives that I found that have the reversible...

*NEW* Fenix PD35 Tactical Edition, tactical mode and outdoor mode,XP-L LED,1000 lumens

Half press will get you whatever level it is set for. I like keeping mine on medium which works fine for most tasks. However, the new light let's you do a momentary turbo which is nice to use on Mr Badguy to let him know you mean business. Also, a quick hit of 1000 lumens let's you change...

*NEW* Fenix PD35 Tactical Edition, tactical mode and outdoor mode,XP-L LED,1000 lumens

I just got the regular PD35 and my one complaint is that it doesn't not have a momentary turbo like the new one does. I might have to bite the bullet and get the new tac one too.

    I just purchased a flashlight for a steal...or did I get ripped?

I just got it in the mail. It was well worth the wait. This thing is great in the pocket and puts out just the right amount of light. The only thing I do not like about it, is the way to get to the lower settings. I am not having much luck with the CR123's in regards to the levels, but might...

    Nitecore Tube

I just helped my wife put hers on her keyring and noticed hers came with two split rings. One was about 3/8" and one was about 3/4". My son's came with the same. I got ripped since mine only came with the 3/4". A quick trip to the hardware store should take care of it.
