RE: #7 HDS Rotary XPL. Is this a Tactical or EDC version? Shinny polished bezel or body? Which button Flush or Raised? Also, is it the version with the latest firmware, i.e. beacon & candle mode? Thanx, Duck

EDC, Shiny polish everything, flush button, it's the version sold at illumination supply so I assume its the newest. I don't play with the UI much to know.

regarding #70- is there anyway possible to change the the UI. I did not know you need to hold down the switch to turn the ps03 on. i need it to be just a single click will turn light on.

i dont care if i have to cycle through all the modes to turn the light off. anything you can do?
if not, im sorry, but can you take me off the buy list. i tried looking everywhere to find the ui. and i had no answers on the ps03 thread. not even the lumintop page had it.
luckily i found only one video that showed me.

I can do LD60vn UI but that would add $55 to the price.

great UI for some. but doesnt work for me....at least for this particuliar light at least.
i would liked it to start on turbo.
besides, adding $55 to the price would be the deal breaker for me anyways.

sorry, to have this deal gone bad. i really like everything about the light except the UI. Just cant deal with having to hold switch to turn on.

Last night is the first real night I took the PS03vn to bed. Heat sinking is runtime is really EXCELLENT. I diffused my lens and love the floody beam beam. I personally like the UI as it lower the chance for accidental activation. Not trying to talk you into buying. Just giving my impression.

By the way, I ran the light for about 1-2 hour in different modes but continuously and Max brightness doesn't seem to drop one bit. Freaking impressive. I like it more than the MiniVN now.
