Bump, and I'll kill 2 birds and show my wheels. The B42GT with N219A at Central California's Monticello dam and Lake Berryessa, with my Acura Integra. The dam is somewhat famous for the design of its Morning Glory spillway drain. When the water level gets very high, the water starts draining down the 72ft circular drain hole, drops 200 feet straight down and exits at the base of the dam.

I just received my first HDS Rotary. I bought it second hand from maukka, so first it travelled to Finland and then made the trip pictured in the map: Finland -> The Netherlands -> USA -> Argentina

Now the 2021 update taken some weeks ago. Last year I took the Bare AL, this year it is the Stainless Steel HDS:

The difference is, this year the lighthouse was not closed due to corona

Reactivating this thread by asking for a moment of silence for my lost HDS B42GT #1931.

It was in New York City, Hudson Yards, Bella Abzug park, Friday afternoon, where I took a photo of it next to a building under construction, slipped it into my backpack and left for another photo op. My zipper had a failure and came unmeshed, leaving the whole side of the backpack open. The HDS escaped, and when I backtracked 1 minute later, the 2 kids in the park said they thought the street sweeping guy got it. Well, he didn't speak English but showed me his gabage bags, no HDS, so I think someone simply wasn't honest.

The light may not have been the latest/greatest, but worked nicely with a Nichia 219A upgrade, Sandwich Shoppe titanium bezel, and the 16650 battery tube. It'd been having trouble draining RCR123A batteries within a week with the short body, but seemed OK with 16650. I suppose once the battery gives out, the thieves will have trouble finding another battery and toss it.

May it rest in peace.
