Sorry - M25C2vnT kit - single mode version. You said at the time that:

Yours will be a bit higher than below:
Eagle Tac M25C2vn KT XML2-U3 PDT Samsung 20r 11260 turn on 1130@ 30 sec 419 mid 61 low 265,000 lux
Eagle Tac M25C2vnT XPG2 PDT Samsung 20r 8160 turn on 783@ 30 sec 343,000 lux

So how does what you mention above as having the pencil beam compare with what I have for throw?

Sorry for the bad nomenclature.

M25C2vnT before = M25C2vn with XPg2 PDTc

M25C2vnT Today = M25C2vn with Huge Turbo Head

Both lights are very different in terms on size. The larger one throws more with a smaller hot spot.

I have the xml2-U3 PDTc version of the M25C2vn, with a 62mm diameter head/reflector, and what an amazing little torch it is. Jmpaul tested his version of this light at 265,000 Lux. Now the new M25C2vnT (Turbo), is essentially the same light, but has a 92mm diameter head/reflector hanging off it's single 18650 body and switch assembly, and I suspect is driven a tad harder. Now Jmpaul recently tested an early developmental version of this light and regestered 580,000 Lux. This is roughly a 120% increase in Lux....!
Just goes to reinforce the fact, that with a reflector based LED torch..., size and depth of reflector, does matter.......!

Hi Vinh

I can't see any pictures, and I am getting confused with numbers and options. But I want the one with the big head and MOST THROW. Can you tell me exactly what to order and the price with International shipping. I will also e-mail you with the same content as this post.

Thanks.

Ummm wild guess but may be twice the size. I have not compared side by side.

$275 XPG2 PDTc = most throw but least output
$275 U3 PDTc = Medium Throw and output
$290 MTG2 = Least throw but highest output

+$5 if you want "V54" engraving

How much difference is between 1 and 2? Is it worth the lumen loss to go XPG2? I don't need measurements but a honest observation would be very useful. Thanks Vinh!

I own the xpg2 dedome version of the m25c2vn normal head version and it has such a focused beam its hardly usefull under 400 feet. hotspot might be bright but its so small it wont light up enough of what your trying to look at. its beyond a pencil beam imo. In this turbo head verison i think its only usefull if you want a flashlight laser. Xml2 might not throw as far but they are so close and the xml2 is much brighter the xml2 version will apper more inpressive. Im not saying i dont like it i love mine but i use it to point out stars lol. I think this turbo head version with dedome xpg2 could be the most focused most narrow beam ever seen from an led flashlight. Fun as a novelty but not much practical use.

The xml2 is a laser. Xpg2 would be for specialized use only like an aspheric type beam I'm thinking

You got a XPG2 PDTc coming on Monday I think ;-)

I suck as guessing but I sure hope it breaks 600K from a single cell :)
