I got my MD1 today as I was leaving my apartment and I opened it and an AW IMR 18350 fits quite easily (with a bit of room to spare so far as width, probably because the MD2s need to accept protected 18650s?)

I really wanna get a black Triad tail for this MD1 though, but those are hard to come by. I have a black RPM switch coming though.

I'm at my parents' place now, so I'm not at my flashlights, but can someone refresh my memory on whether the Z44 bezels will fit on these MD1 bodies?

You won't be able to use an M31 with rechargeable batteries, primaries only, I run an M61 in mine with a 18340.

I like the MD1 package A LOT- but want to run illogical light packages through it, not a malkoff drop in. Nailbender P-60's don't fit how about mules? (I hope I'm making sense, hurt back and apparently a lightweight- muscle relaxers have me just goofy)

Any P60 dropin should work. I have run the OverReady triple in mine as well as various other dropins. If you want you can send me the drop in and I will do whatever modifications are required to the ring and head to make the dropin fit (for a fee).
