Just got this one yesterday.

First I'd like to say, out of respect for the forum and its members, please don't get into politics or opinions about the person who once owned this Atlantic City, NJ casino, which doesn't even exist anymore.

It's about the Maglite. I think it is rare - I've never seen one like it. I like the graphics on it. It's in very good condition. The seller took a reasonable offer on it, and I bought it. I think it's pretty cool.

The switch area of ML models is shorter than the incan counterparts. An incan 2C is nearly the length of a 3 cell ML50.

LED minimags are longer. Bigger head are to achieve the incan minimag type throw. Solitaire's are practically the same length.
I had a chance to compare differently models recently and they're roughly the same size. The round storage tailcap makes a bigger difference than the switch as far as I can see on the pushbutton lights--the twisties are quite a bit shorter.

ML25LT 2C twistie, older 2C incan, later 2C incan, older 3C incan, ML50L 3C, ML50LX 3C, later 3C incan.

Seems to me the irony/gray were called pewter. Some kind of Home Depot only or something like that.
Magellan or Liftd4R would know but they don't come around anymore.

Might be the "olive drab" used in the Assault Systems custom order Jason's blog talks about. This could have been a test case or something they dunked in the same batch. I have a group of Mags that appear to be random factory leftovers.

Could Maglite do a custom run for CPF or BLF?
If you want 10,000. Or they'll custom engrave one at a time for a rather large fee. Like $25 or more.

Apprently 4C's are getting scarce. I discovered one of mine was plagued by leakers so I figured "eh, just buy a new one". Yeah, right. The only one I saw was at eBay for $155!!

I got it fiixed though. Took a few days of trial and error. The usual WD40, vinegar, baking soda and 3n1 oil were no go. Mrs Fixer says "you tried Coca Cola?" "Why no I haven't". We had some left from Thankgiving and 5 minutes later gray stuff started rising up into the pond of it in the barrel and "woosh" it suddenly drained like a toilet flush. The battery came out like it hadn't even been stuck.

And it works good as new again.
I replaced the switch and will rebuild the old one after cleaning the parts and pieces.
