Re: X65vn2470?!

The head on the X65vn is much bigger than the TK61vn. The circuitry will be tricky with just one switch but I am thinking about creating a custom HS just for the drivers to handle the high current. I also like it that the X65 is very very compact for a 8*18650 light.

I mean they all look good to me.. rc40vn40 ( came with a car charger)... tk75vn or tk61vn ( 4,8,12 cells).. good size, more power..

Any takers yet? Almost convinced myself to get one of these beasts but it's really a thrower that I need. That and my wife has this stupid theory that saving for a better home is more important than a $1500 flashlight??? Lol

From what I suspect, the X65vn2840 will be over $1500, hopefully not well over that amount.

I only have a finite amount of money!

Re: RC40vn670 - RC40vn40 - X65vn2470 - TK75vn1670

Of course, if the X65vn2840 is an 80,000 - 100,000+ lumen flashlight, it must be added to my collection.

Jeez, the drivers, heat sink, and leds might require liquid cooling, or at least a fan similar to the Olight X9, which will be "only" 25,000 lumens. The X9's leds aren't as closely packed either.

:faint:

Poor olight x9, already its gonna be a bed time reading light and not even released yet ............. saying that it has an awesome host possibility!!

Awesome/amazing stuff vinh.................WOWzers

Yes i dont think it matters that much which is better out of the rc40 and x65 with a HUGE chunk of heat sink inside..............its just a body holding a heat sink when you have 80k+ lumens.

I guess you won't know the numbers until you're done but do you know the approximate lumens though?
