Red hog hunting spotlight / weapon mounted light

I'm hunting hogs at night and I'm looking for the brightest red light thats currently available.

Ive seen the 66LRX red aspherical led light from sniper hog lights for $145 and that looks pretty good. I like the fact that its adjustable for close range throw and a wide beam that wont spook hogs, and a tight beam to spot them at a distance.

However that model seems to have been around for quite a while and I'm wondering if theres anything more modern or higher performance out there now.

Do you mind rolling your own?

For that, I'd get a red XP-E2 emitter on a 20mm star, **1-mode** 1050mA or 1400mA driver, and stick those into a C8 host.

Plus, you can fit the C8 with a remote switch to flick it on only when needed, and the 1-mode driver won't go switching to low or strobe or SOS modes!
