Some say the Opple is not trustworthy for this measurement. Your thoughts?
How many people are saying they visually see this fluctuation you think?

I dont either..I don't see any like the video above
happy for you tooMy SC65c doesn't have any flicker, or I don't notice it lol.
Yes I went to g6 and reprogrammed it. I don't have a Opple but I'm happy with the SC65 either way. I have another one ordered and I'll check it out once I get it.I dont either..
maybe you were lucky and your light is different than the other 3 Im reporting,
bear in mind Im reporting the results from 3 different owners, two of which have Opple instruments
other possible reasons:
are you sure that you tested on L4? (it requires programming the light, by default L4 is not available by double clic from L1, which goes to L2, not L4).. forgive me for stating what may be obvious to you..
to be sure about your light (assuming it is reprogrammed to reach L4), I would test it with an Opple if you have access to that tool, maybe also redo the video with the phone and light stationary, and you could also try the waving test..
fwiw, this issue does not affect any of the medium levels, nor any of the high modes
happy for you too
did you reprogram to acces L4, or are you only reporting for the stock L1 and L2 configuration?
I apologize... I am referring to L2 (the lowest of the low modes) I forgot the UI is programmable.. I can't imagine it lower than the stock low.. gesh...I dont either..

Im only reporting about the SC65 because I trust the info from Bob_McBob, confirmed by Cheule.Does any other Zebralight model have any flickering?
yes, although I avoid that term and prefer to talk about the Flicker speedThe other day I learned that even HDS has PWM
I asked and Gene wrote me that the Flicker on a Malkoff is at 312 Hz. He said most people dont notice it. I have not seen any Opple data for a Malkoff, if somebody wants to mail me one, PM me for my address.. I will also accept an SC65 for testing.. lolMalkoff MDC.
You will have to go to G6 and reprogram it to get to L4. L4 would be the dimmest settingWhen you are saying L4, does that mean your L1 is the dimmest or the brightest? I want to check my 65 units for this condition.
not true, L4 can be programmed in G5.You will have to go to G6 and reprogram it to get to L4. L4 would be the dimmest setting
I know that but for me it was just easier to do it that waynot true, L4 can be programmed in G5.
as the secondary low mode.
correctSo, up to now, all of the flicker issues are only on the low modes? No issues with flickering on the medium and high modes?
Following with great interest as my SC65 is in the mail with an arrival date this week. So, up to now, all of the flicker issues are only on the low modes? No issues with flickering on the medium and high modes?
