I am converting a IKEA light to LED.

The idea is to use MAXflex2 when available (1/12/08).
3x Cree Q5.
No reflectors.
2s2p 18650 cells 4x cells 2 in series and 2 in packs.

These should all fit in the base or part of the lamp.

But I would like to mount 3 LEDs to get good 360 corverage and some triangle aluminum stock tubing would be awesome to find.

Any know where to find triangle stock? It can be hollow prefreed, but solid might work too. I need like 1 foot but if I do more 2 feet would be nice to have.
I may just have to go to square tubing and change some of the battery configuration if I can't find Triangle Aluminum tubing.

Someone help me find it in California so I don't have to run all around to find it?

I was also thinking I could use regular aluminum tubing and figure out mounting the LEDs to the tubing with AA might work also if I just can't find Triangle stock...

I have never seen (or heard of) ready-made stock with a triangular cross-section. Now that you mention it, I wonder why?

Aircraftspruce.com offers aluminum in various cross-sections that you might find suitable.

Alternatively, you could use square or rectangular stock and cut it to triangular shape, but this would be difficult.

I did a quick check of my material sources.
No triangle stock or tubing.

I did find Hexagonal Bar at McMaster-Carr.
Choose your size, drill a hole through the center and good to go.
