Sold/Expired $urefire E2 Mini Turbo Head

I got my mini TH today and after cutting the bulb legs to about 4.5 to 5mm from the bulb base. I can't push the bulb into the e2 socket. I have to use some fine sandpaper to sand away the sharp edge on the tip of the bulb leg.after installing the socket to the TH ...........

and the result is AWESOME!!

FM hit another homerun on these one!!

Now I'm wondering about the 1111. Any guesses, anyone?

WA1111 is G4 and won't fit the socket. Also won't pass through reflector opening.

I like the matte bezel on the TH. I'd be interested in knowing if it's HAIII, or even if it's aluminum. It has a distinctly different feel and look.

In order to have all parts same color and same shade, all parts must be machined from one piece of aluminum bar and anodized in same tank.
Any small variation on aluminum alloy and temperature differences in anodizing tank will make big changes.
Is it possible to make all 3 (or 4) parts of body same color and shade? Sure.
Is it practical? No way.
Machining of 2.75" M4 head and 1" body/tail from one piece of 3" aluminum bar and anodizing them all in same tank, same time and assembling without mixing up with next batch, will cost way more than you may think.
Head, body and tail cap from all my A2, E2e, M3,M4 and M6 don't match prfetly with each other. Carefully look at the pictures here, here and here
Color matching of black is much easier than clear (natural) hard anodize if finish of metal surface is same.
In general dull metal surface will be matte anodize color and shiny (polished) metal surface will be glossy anodize while there are many different shades in between.

I think I need 2 more of your sockets. Both with installed 1499 for one grey and one black kit.

Come to think of it I need more than two of those sockets for axial bulbs to go into the E series bodies I just recently bought from you as well!

Good to know 1794 will fit! I hope the cut is the right length.

I can use an Axial bulb in a e2e socket with 3x 16340 in a 2x18500 e series fm body

as this is the only way to add a 1794 to my SF E Defender, I feel I might have to get one black one. It would be superior to my LF IMR 350 drop in. the grey ones are awesome and really keep the heat where it should be.
