the light has a smeared effect in one direction coming off the hotspot Im pretty sure is due to the emitter being off. For $100+ I expect better than this. Mine came with a physical manual so I think it is old stock. Will contact the retailer and post a straight on pic best I can later on...

Yes, straight pics would be fine for our specialist. I understand that you want a good quality light.
Din`t hesitate to contact service, we will do our best to solve the problem.

hey gyzmo2002, no updates yet I am actually just getting back to this page for the first time in days right now. Good to see AT call it what it is. I will post my results here. As frustrating as it is sometimes I just really "like" a series of lights and I think with these AT's they just aesthetically nailed a sweet looking series of designs that I had to have. Call it what it is but heres to AT hopefully coming through all the way on this one cause the retailer is not returning my emails...

retailer is not GG or AA. Should have stuck with either of them. Its a US retailer but they still seem to be ignoring my emails. I am following AT's instruction and have emailed the proper link my posted photo with a short description and my info yesterday. Guess I may not hear back for 2 weeks? This is the first light in 20 years of collecting that came new out the box with an off center emitter yikes!

He must be sick of all the problems with Armitek products. That's his job to give you good service and to deal with Armytek. I do not know if he knows the cheers and jeers section of this forum.

Keep us posted.

To be fair Im going to give AT the benefit of the doubt for now as any maker lets some lemons through sometimes. Worst finish quality light I ever bought was the first P12. Its reflector had a chunk missing out of it from bad machining and the glare coat only went half way across the lens it drove me up the wall. Got it on a discount and there was no returning it. Tried contacting Nitecore as technically it was warrantied but the only response I got to my emails were NC ads for other NC lights. I just gave it away. Am keeping the Chinese New Year as a factor as well. Still this is a $110 light.

Even if they are on holiday, I just received an email about Armytek advertising. For sale, they are there but when it comes time for the service, it is something else as I can see. It's sad because I like some of their products.

happy to say I finally got my replacement Viking Pro the other day! Wow what a difference a centered emitter makes this thing is incredible! Talk about high output on its highest output the beam is so powerful it looks almost like you could reach out and expect to feel that the beam is solid LOVE it

Looking to purchase a new VP V3 but having a hard time finding any reviews or beamshots.

It seems its now similiar to the PP V2.5 in its 5 degree hot spot but im a bit cautious in believing its internet specs. (can any owners provide feedback?)

also im wondering how effective the potting is in the head. could i assemble the light underwater and activate it without shorting the driver/electronics?

Hi! Thank you for your interest in our flashlights!
Viking v3 has new and better thread than in previous version, so probability of water ingress is less. You can watch this video. :)
