Manual dexterity is very important in a tactical glove. Cut resistance and impact protection for the back of the hand is next.

I've seen several instances where fire retardant clothing is used around aircraft. That makes sense. I work with a lot of Nuclear Navy vets, I'll have to ask them about their experience.

I had a pair just like those in Coyote. Great gloves. They were very expensive, but I bought them on Black Friday and received a huge discount (still expensive nearly $80).

Don't remember, I wore 'em out years ago. They had matching tape for application to the carbine. Really held on well. Kinda like, but still very different than velcro.

Those police officers were wearing plain clothes as they didn't have time to respond to a shooting attack in HK. Mostly the guys are issued with gear, however I don't know if some of them wears their own private purchase ones.

The dog is of a breed that will bite a passer by who is foolish enough to try to pet him. Malinois' high energy and motivation to get the job done certainly have their uses; helped pacify locals when US went to get bin Laden.

Why is the dog muzzled?

Overseas trained K9's are considered 'hot loads' hence the muzzles. Needless to say, handler's don't take these dogs home, they live in kennels.
I've heard, if fellow officers get caught between handler and K9 in pursuit, offer your weak arm til handler can call off attack.. It's better than having dog clamp down on your crotch 🥴
