Does anyone know where to get a Wolf-Eyes 9M besides flashlightcool.com or dinodirect? These two places seem to be shady.

The Wolf-Eyes 9M and and the whole 9 Series were discontinued. You should check the M90 Rattlesnake out (The best incandescent Wolf-Eyes after the M300 Lion). Great place to buy from:

If you like the short style of the 9M; you can pick up a Raider in the market place and then add a 9D bezel.

Looks like this-->Raider but without the tape switch.

Just be aware that the 9M, like the longer Rattlesnake, used a heavy, finned 45mm head. The Raider uses a lighter 42mm head that won't cool as well and won't accept as many third-party drop-ins. I used to use a Raider with my favorite 9V D36 incan drop-in ever, the RICO Alpha-9. The fit (top to bottom) was very tight; I had to struggle to close the head far enough to thread it down.

In case anyone is wondering, I favored the RICO lamp assembly because it was bright (250 lumens) and floody while drawing only about 1.2 amps.
