The marathon in L.A. is gonna be dangerous for some. They usually change the date ...but not this year.

85F in San Diego today. Santa Anna conditions.

Gotta say, that is a breathtaking shot. For me, it ellicits a deep yearning for something I'll never physically have, reveals a huge hole in my heart.

Felt like Winter suddenly came to an end. Even my elderly supervisor showed up this morning in his tan Spring jacket, while the day before it was his Winter coat and watch-cap. 50-degree F. weather. I just replaced the main zipper-pull on my Winter coat. Time to put it away in my car trunk for next Winter.

Felt like Winter suddenly came to an end. Even my elderly supervisor showed up this morning in his tan Spring jacket, while the day before it was his Winter coat and watch-cap. 50-degree F. weather. I just replaced the main zipper-pull on my Winter coat. Time to put it away in my car trunk for next Winter.

Still have some cold days ahead but we have certainly turned in the right (warmer) direction.

Yeah. In my area, the past two afternoons have been balmy, one of them downright warm. This morning, I had to go a shirtsleeves, as the light wool blend sweater was too warm. That's a change for the better.

Of course, with the rainy season starting, it will be interesting to see whether it could be too much of a good thing.

Better than single-digits or sub-zero, though, that's for sure.

Imagine: Being able to correct the vitamin D deficiency on these chicken legs, sitting out in the sun, at long last. What a concept!
