It's cold again, but no snow!
Per Carrot: “Now is the winter of humanity’s discontent“.![]()
The swings have been major. Nature is confused. The week ahead will remain cold, no higher than 50F. April can’t get here quick enough.Well, we just got a hard freeze for a couple of days, dipping into the high teens (ºF). It's sure the winter of the daffodils' discontent. They're toast, keeled over, browned petals and likely to not come back this season. Even snowed the other day.
And those mid-70ºF's days were sooo nice, while they lasted. Famous last words, it turns out.
Perhaps it was my lambasting ol' Punxsutawney Phil. "Murphy" was listening through all that harangue. Yeah, well. I hope Phil's enjoying the warm burrow, chuckling away as he is at our discomfort.
That’s crazy.News reported 104-degrees F. in Arizona, today. A rare March heat-wave.
Hope Greta and her loved ones are staying cool.
I always look forward to that “free time” where there is no need for unnatural heat/cool sources. Energy is so darned expensive now so it’s like getting a bonus. I’m hoping we get the spring break soon.It got up to 78F inside today...so the aircon came back on. ::sigh:: It's been a cold winter, so I'll gladly take only trying to condition the interior ~20F difference from outside rather than 40F-50F difference. My wallet will appreciate it.

When delivered in moderation, Rain is better than snow...When in excess, snow is better than rain, because even if both or either keep you inside, at least snow won't try to join you...Rain! For too many hours. Oh well....
