Haven't seen the Gerber in person, but Sunwayman S10A/S10R are pretty rugged.

I Have an EagleTac D25c Ti that fell out of my pocket at 40 feet up a ladder on to a concrete floor with only minor scratches and it still works perfectly.

I hear that Rayovac's "Indestructible" series is indeed indestructible. Saw a few at home depot the other day.
