I have seen many posts hoping or wishing for particular products from Gene interspersed all over CPF. Many may not be financially feasible but I wanted to start off a post where you can post what you would like to see from Malkoff Devices. (If there is one already I haven't found it).

My initial requests would be:

1. 2x21700 MDX body or extension setup to hold 2 21700's.

2. Anti-Roll MDX head unit.

3, Bring back the Knurling on the MDX body or non slip knurled version (see FiveMega's old 2x18650 bodies for great kurling). Or make one available as a choice.

4. Revise 18650 bodies to hold to current longer larger diameter 18650's or a small threaded extension to add to the current bodies for add extra length.

Any others?

(1) 2 x 21700 bodies

(2) M61's in LLL and LLLL

(3) M31's in LL and LLL

These would make me very happy!

Late add: That Gene would place the year made on each drop-in

Also after more thought, Over the years I have been trying to compare past and current dropins for performance specs and have found it very time consuming. What has made it easier for me is that I have been aware of and purchasing his products since inception. I would find it much harder if I was just getting started. There is a load of information here on CPF about Malkoff products but you really have to work to find it all. Also, Malkoff's website use to list all the products and specs in a chart but that is no longer done.

I know this is a stretch and is easier for me to say but harder to implement but I would like to see something on his website bench marking new products listed by date. A product evolution list. It doesn't have to be retroactive.
Something like, "November 2023-M61 LED upgraded from Cree XP-G to SST-20".
"Lumens increased from 325 to 450". "Voltage expanded from 3.4-6v to 3.7-9v, etc. "

21700 twisty using an optic, SFT40 emitter
choose either 3000k & 5000K,
stonewashed aluminum is fine. Good clip also, like from an RRT-01

I still have and use M61Ns and M361s from before Gene bumped up the drive levels to make them slightly bright for less run time.

I would love to see the old driver used in "Miser" type LMH drop-ins and e-series heads.

Also, mode memory!

Figured I'd be the outlier here (as usual), but I have been using the long-discontinued Malkoff LED dome light in my car ever since it was first released.
Much better-made than the cheap imports; my Malkoff dome light is now on its second car, lol.
If they were produced again (in Neutrals even!), I'd buy a few more of them for my other car in a heartbeat;

Now there is some history. I do remember them but never had the need for one.

---Throwback---
From his website in 2015:

32mm Automobile Festoon (Dome) Lamp

$ 14.99

32mm Automobile Festoon (Dome) Lamp has a rating of 5.0 stars based on 2 reviews.

This is a Cool White 32mm Automobile Festoon (Dome) Lamp. The approximate output is a very bright 175 (measured) Lumens. The LED is a Cool White 6500K Cree CXA 1304.

Actual Lamp dimensions are 32mm in length by 13mm at the widest part.

The Nominal Input Voltage is 12V DC. The Max Input Voltage is 16V DC. This Lamp is Protected Against Reverse Polarity, But is Polarity Sensitive. If the Lamp Fails to Light, Reverse the Contacts and Reinstall.

Twisty MDC AA with 519A 3500K emitter.
Lord, that would be glorious.
I'll add a AAA twisty with springs at both ends would be cool as well.
Twisty Malkoff AAA lights need to be a thing (again?).

I think some of the best products ever made are the weirdest. A Malkoff dome light is hilarious, amazing, and really neat.

Wish he would also stick the SST20 3000k into a 3 mode MDC head
The 3000K SST-20 has really grown on me, and I'd buy this.

#2&3 are a BIG ditto from me.

It seems so strange that NO ONE is interested in the really low output drop-ins, yet Craig seems to sell out of those first at Illumn, and sold through 3 runs...

I'm hoping Kosen will get enough interest in low output M31's to release some with a neutral or warm emitter.

I'm still using my M60LL with a frosted/flood UCL lens. I could use a new LLL in 519a.
M60LL specs: 80 lumens. Cree 8 degree optic. Draw is 170ma at 6 volts. The LED is a Cree XRE 7090.

I want one too! Did you participate in the Kōsen M31 Light Engine and 2xAA HCRI Flashlight Interest List?

Looks like 65 lumens & 140, so I want both of course.
