Is it that time?

Haha, sorry, sorry... I'm still in San Francisco... I'll be home on 25th and that package with samples should wait for me... so I should have more info then... Trust me, I hope one of them will fit as I really would like one module for my own M1 lego...

Hi Tana, keep us in the loop. Was it a particular Supplier that ran out of stock?

Any ways that A2/M1 Lego sounds cool Hard part is find the body, the rest Should be much easier to get, if you are willing to pay $100+ for a complete A2

Tana - any luck for a reflector for these? I have a M1 incoming and would be interested in discussing a build.

No movement... I keep looking for reflector of those exact dimensions but I guess a more simple 18mm would do - I just didn't have time to machine module around it... what do you have in mind ???

Alright then... my plan was to continue R&D on M3 Large TripLED but I'll try to take a quick detour and cut new eMt1 proto with different reflector...

XPL HI is definitely a good choice... as for driver choice, it will be like previous, 1.4Amp linear drivers with Tana3 programmable firmware, enough mode choices for everybody (should keep longer spring design as cells lengths vary)...

Funny you should mention the M3 - I have one of those coming and I've been planning out a triple build for it as well.

I'll be curious to see how the eMT1 proto turns out with the new reflector option.

Sean, if we do this project, can I send you my M1 for opening/modding? I just don't have the balls to try opening the M1 (heard horror stories in the past, and it's apparently not that easy to open). The Tana module looks fantastic and it would be worth investing in an M1 (again) to do this.

I've had very good luck opening four of these little devils by using the "Boiling water" method. Sometimes it takes three of four tries to get them open but I have done it each time without tools. Just need gloves and some rubber straps, heck I think I used a dish towel on one of them.
