Click HERE if you have NOT received your order

Didn't realize you were tracking this a while ago, but since you have me on there as unknown... After a few PM's and broken promises all went silent and I never did receive the aluminum Tri-EDC ordered on 7/25/2013.

    Anybody know Mac's status?

I've all but accepted the fact I'm never going to see the light I ordered July 2013. It's been 18 months and he's stopped responding to emails or PM's long ago.

What on your belt/pocket right now?

This tends to be the daily carry for the past year or so, not the prettiest. The D25A has a neutral/warm 4000K XM-L2. Sheepsfoot on the Mini-Grip.

    Slim 1xAA light, preferably clicky?

I've got a good assortment of lights, large and small, but most days I find myself grabbing for a slimmer AA light, as they just pocket better. Right now this means either the Eagletac D25A, or L3 Illumination L10 twisty. Other single AA lights like the Zebralight SC52 have the additional bulk...

Zebralight SC600w II L2 Announced for September

I talked with one retailer who said he noticed the switch was changed on these new lights, and also is seeing a lot more marks on the body right from the factory. :(

Zebralight SC600w II L2 Announced for September

I don't understand how some people say its got a very tactile feeling switch, and others like myself and mark6 describe it as a "soft touch" switch. (good description) There must be several versions of the switch floating around on this light, because to me there's no way I would use "tactile"...

Zebralight SC600w II L2 Announced for September

I got my SC600w II today, sheesh that took a little while! I wish I could say the wait was all worth it, but it's not all peaches and cream with this light. Yes, if you noticed, the tail cap came pre-scratched. (actually in a couple spots) I can live with that, as I'll certainly add my own...

Prometheus Lights: AAA Beta-QR LIVE on Kickstarter

Got my nickel 2-mode the other day, this is one sweet little light! I was considering it as a christmas gift for someone but there's no way I'm giving it up now! ;) Love the QR feature, and somehow the Nichia 219 seems even better than the one in my L10..

Zerohour "Modular Tactical Battery Backup" Flashlight

Perusing the usual crowdfunding sites for interesting projects I came across this flashlight called the: ZEROHOUR Modular Tactical Battery Backup Flashlight. Of course there's a ton of marketing speak all over the page, and it's not really all that revolutionary as I know I've seen lights...

Found my old Surefire L4 - time to give it a new life!

I've run the light up to 14v (from bench supply) without the light drawing excessive current. It's been about 3 hours sitting on 8.5V and the head is all of 101°F so I'm not worried about it. I can't find a photo of the driver board to show my exact modifications unfortunately.

Found my old Surefire L4 - time to give it a new life!

After about 4 years of being "lost", I found my Surefire L4 tucked away in a pack I never thought to look through. This was my first foray into high quality flashlights and served me well until I misplaced it. After popping in a fresh set of CR123s, my first impression is WOW LED technology...

    ever lost a flashlight?

Well wouldn't you know it! 4 years later and guess who shows up completely unannounced! And just last week I put on a pair of pants I must not have worn in ages and found my little Peak Eiger clipped right into the pocket.
